Wow, dude. I'm pretty sure I made sense and I surely did not think of some farce like Z80 multiplying chips?

See this:

That probably explains some of our misunderstanding.

Man, are you OK? You're also really talking in voluminous amounts of semi-coherent, verbose, well-spelled ranting in other threads.

I'm gonna take a break from this forum until I see you being a little more calm.

I was being calm; I'm just trying to understand what you're trying to say. All I want to know is whether or not we're on the same page in terms of understanding how the arcade system's emulation would affect the way that FamiTracker would have to be programmed.

Well the good thing about VGM is that you don't have to care about CPUs and hardware and stuff, all that's needed is a second set of 2A03 channels. It would be extremely simple to add.

If, at a later point, anyone would want to run things on the actual arcade hardware, then I'm sure that's possible to handle at that time. But before that I see no reasons to make things more complicated than necessary.

The second point was what I was trying to get at, but it's still good to know the first point here & that I was wrong to a certain extent. I do know that furrykef's trying something involving DK3 & I hope his work goes well (he's actually trying a software experiment with MAME to see if he can manipulate DK3's audio in a way that's compatible with the NES). I hope he follows through & it goes well, but who knows?

OK, what about adding vgm export? Including subsongs as their own .vgm files, getting their titles from the ftm itself for example.
There is no way I am going to switch to winamp just to export vgm just for the purpus of emulating dk3's arcade board. Everyone knows winamp is going the way of the dodo and people are switching to foobar 2000 for that reason.

Use this version of NEZplay to make each 2a03 rip

Grab vgmtools and use vgmmerge.exe

You should also use vgm_tag.exe to add those tags once you're done

If you refuse to grab the tools you need to serve your own purposes then there is no one to blame but yourself.

OK, now i'm having a really nasty issue in nez play.
I set vgm log to 1,
I begin playing the nsf.
and no vgm file shows up whatsoever.
(I wa using my time tunnel arcade cover as the test subject.)
