You can use release rather than cut to halt DPCM samples without resetting the counter (this avoids the pops - see attachment)

The song was pretty decent - the Coolbass+Tri is somewhat loud and kinda has a chorus-y effect (frames 01-04) which sound a bit odd on a bass to me.

Thanks guys! I updated this song a while ago, but never posted it here, so here's the updated one. It fixes the DPCM and changes the FDS a bit too.
