I decided to make a cover instead of an original, and it's going pretty well so far, but I need some help with the instruments.

Cool song and well done. Use the the Dxx effect to make a frame shorter so you can remove the space in the first one.

Ahhh, I love this soundtrack. Nice song choice!
For the most part, you got the rhythms down and the only issues I noticed were the notes and sound design. Low notes can be pretty difficult, but just keep trying and you'll get better the more you do it!
I've attached a version with some edits I made on the notation and instruments. Normally I'd nsfimport the nsf to learn how some instruments are made, but I decided to try recreating it from what I heard.
Regardless, I hope this helps!

It helps, but the problem is, I can't get it to work. What instrument did you use for Pulse 1?

I used a combination of 05, 03, 04, and 01. I'm not sure what you mean by you "can't get it to work", can you be a bit more specific?

I think it is spot on, though. That gives me an idea. I chalenge you to cover the show's theme song in this style.
