Oh shoot, I just made a Triple Baka demake totally unaware of this.
I'll have to check it out in a bit, (not actually on famitracker right now) as I got some notes wrong in my cover!
:D
Just listened, and I think that this would improve greatly with an expansion pack that had the lead/vocals or possibly replacing one of the pulses with it, and I would have just used note cuts for the phone triangle, but I love the DPCM! How'd you record those?

The original idea of this cover was that I'd add vocals afterwards using UTAU. The wav output from FamiTracker is just the instrumental for all this. The Bass + Cell Phone on Triangle channel idea comes from this soundtrack. Also, you noticed that I use A-0 notes on the Triangle channel when nothing is playing on it. That also comes from the soundtracks of the same game. It's kinda like a filler noise in the background. Also useful for retriggering a note on same pitch. The DMC samples are just some Orchestra Hit samples output from FL Studio. I don't remember where I got them, but they might be from the default MIDI soundfont that windows operating systems use (not sure if others use the same one).
