Yeah, the update is that it's complete and functional, including NSF exporting. There are a few other things I want to get done before the release of the next version, but I think it's good enough for a test release soon.

When do you think you will release the next version with the 5B? I'm excited to try it out!

You already can, but I wouldn't get to used to the available workflow. I have a bunch of unofficial FTMs that I'm likely going to need to edit the hell out of.

Is there a version already out that supports it?

A fork called 0CC-FamiTracker has had 5B support for a long time, but I can't actually link it since the creator is banned. Google should help you.

Being the guy that helped with the hardware testing, I'm already ahead of you

I see no reason why a user being banned is any reason not link to their work. Especially if it's FT related and it's to directly answer another user's question.
Fork in question is Hertzdevil's OCC-FT which can be found at http://hertzdevil.info/forum/

Years ago, Hertzdevil was a moderator on these forums (under username nicetas_c) and abused his privilege by exploiting a hole in the forum software or some such thing. I don't remember anything malicious resulting from this, but then again I'm not in a position to speak on the specifics.
