Yeah from what I can tell here, I think AKouZ1 somehow misinterpreted Dr. Mustache as accusing HIM of plagiarism, not Shrekt, hence why he got so defensive.
Obviously what we have here is a case though. It's quite obvious where the OP got his "inspiration".

this FTM is a copy of dr. mustache's FTM here, but changed from n163 to VRC6. all instruments, volume patterns, etc. are identical between the two other than the change in expansion chip: http://famitracker.com/forum/posts.php?id=6059
Just as people pointed out above, OP copied my cover of Littleroot Town and converted it to VRC6 with everything else being the same, like the macro sequences, the instruments (even the unused one) and the commands in the patterns.
I'm not really mad at the fact that he stole it and passed it as his; my concern here is that there seems to be an increasing amount of bad quality threads where people either post admittedly bad stuff, or they flat out steal other people's work (like in this thread). The idea would be to prevent this from happening as much as possible, and penalize those who ignore the rules (I know I'm not a moderator, but I think pointing this out is important). Also I might be taking this very lightly, but I know other people won't be like that of others steal their stuff like that, because... well, nobody likes that their stuff gets stolen.
I request that this thread is locked, and if appropriate, have the file taken down. People should already know that this isn't a good thing to do.
