I am a Famitracker fan and user for years now. And I wanted to make it happen for mobile users. So I basically made a tracker-ish for Windows Phone (Android soon). Due to my software engine's limitation, the music made is not 2A03. Nor it can save as NSF, export as raw audio.
I believe iOS dev licenses are $100 a year, which isn't too bad even for a hobbyist... but the thing is, you can't develop for iOS unless you have an Apple computer. So that'd be a big outlay of cash.
I am currently working on Android file system compatibility. So Android release will be there very soon. (couple of more days I assume)
As for iOS, I used to have iOS developer membership until last month. Plus I sold my MacBook (required to make iOS app) just to keep my finance straight. (Yeah, car payment is not fun)
But anyways since I found you guys have decent anticipation I'll go ahead and post this exclusive PC version just to let you guys play around with it: Exclusive PC version
Remember:
- to navigate back, press backspace
- since this app is programmed with Game Maker: Studio, there are some limitations. So it's not as advanced as Famitracker and noise/beats/DPCM are very limited.
- There's no copy/paste function yet but I will soon implement it on the next update
Well, let me know how you guys feels about this app! Just a heads up, this app is intended to support ONLY on portable devices.
Edit: Since I have a developer account on Amazon, I will make sure it's on Amazon app store as well!

Wow! I thougt GM was way to difficult to understand, so I switched to Clickteam fusion 2.5 for making small games. But a TRACKER?!?!? MADE IN GAMEMAKER!?!? That's really amazing! Good job!
And also, If you want to make an iOS application, team up with someone that owns a mac and let them make the builds on their.
Really looking forward to the Amazon store release! Another thing: Will files be cross-platform? For example, could I edit a song on Android and then run it on PC for easier rendering? And also, is there already rendering built in anyway?

The files are cross-platform. As for Android files (it would be saved at the app data folder & root access needed) just add .8t file extension and save it in C:/Users/<YOUR USERNAME>/appdata/local/8Tones/Projects in order to read it from the PC version.
