Fix this.
Also, have you fixed the 'Sxx resets effects states' and the Gxx/Sxx inconsistency?

I have an unusual request. Do you think you can add an Export to MIDI option? I believe it can be done because there is an NSF to MIDI program. I want it in Famitracker though because I want to stop right when it's about to loop and you can't do that with that program unless the song stops.

The problem with the current method of exporting to MIDI is partly due to the fact that it exports directly from FamiTracker's input (via the FTM) to MIDI; even though there will be greater overhead with this technique, it might actually be the only viable way to export MIDIs (via exporting to NSF & converting to MIDI).

nicetas_c: I tested the Gxx/Sxx-behaviour and didn't notice the problem so I believe it's fixed. I'm also aware about the frame rate problem, I'll try to fix it.

Doommaster1994: I'm not sure what you mean stop when it's about to loop, and how MIDI export solves it? It is possible to dump all notes to a MIDI file but the result won't be usable for anything.

jsr: I'm talking about stopping the song before it goes to the first frame again. That's the clearest I can explain it. You may want to edit the Wiki for the note slides. Also, I have a problem on my Michael Jackson - Bad cover. Whenever I open it, it's on frame 01 and not 00. I didn't add any effects or anything. If you would like to see it I will upload the FTM file, since you created the program you may be able to find a solution. I wanted the program to export MIDI because then I can play it back with realistic sounding instruments.
(Note: I'm excited for the new release of Famitracker)

Are you talking about the equivalent for the C00 effect in FamiTracker 0.3.0?

It is possible in the current release. VRC7 channels can use 1xx and 2xx as usual, but VRC7 pitch slides won't be exported to NSFs. It is also very difficult to do so. Only if VRC7 channels have a easier way to do more professional slides...

Note that once a 3xx is used, all notes in that channel will fuse into one long note with pitch slides, so there won't be note triggers anymore.

You're thinking of the pitch slides. I'm talking about note slides (Qxy and Rxy)

I forgot the phrase 'note slides'.

Yes, it is possible, only it requires a lot of practice just to get an idea of how the frequency registers work.

That's why I hope here will be 'a more professional' slide function.

Hey, I was going to ask you, did you ever complete that FTM file with all of the SMB3 songs?

How in the world is my SMB3 soundtrack related to the latest beta other than the screwy fine pitches?

I think that you are posting in the wrong place.
