Hi guys, I tried to do a cover of the famous dark world theme from "The legend of Zelda: A link to the past" and I think it turned out kinda well... Or at least I hope it. Enjoy :3

it's very inaccurate. it sounds like you guessed at most of the notes. i'd recommend using an SPC dump from the game as a reference (you'd be able to mute sound channels this way as well.)

I did some of these 8bit remixes 7 years ago, only I did my versions in Impulse Tracker. You can use it as reference if you'd like:

This one is based around the Game Boy Color sound system though.

I must agree with the others; your rendition of the tune is quite off in terms of the beat & the notes (especially near the climax of the song). Confused

I like tssf's rendition, though it still has minor inaccuracies (namely, the fade effects). However, in terms of notation, tssf's tune is 100% faithful to the original.

So if you find MP3s easier to handle (i.e.: easier to slow down, pause & carefully analyse the tune,) then I suggest you use both the SPC file & especially tssf's MP3.
