Another bug is with the expansion chips, they are ear piercing loud. Sorry if someone already mentioned this.

Sounds more like an issue than a bug to me as different NES emulators / NSF players may have different performance.

For example, VRC6 channels in NSFplay are softer than those in FamiTracker.

yes, NSFplug plays expansions too loud as well by default, though you can turn them down. dunno about virtuansf, i'd assume it has a similar option. if not, use a different player. nsfplug, nezplug++, nsf live, foo_gep... lots of options

VirtuaNSF & Nestopia do have the option of turning down the volume of individual channels, but the fact remains that the beta doesn't export VRC7 volume envelopes into NSF files properly.

3 new bugs.
1. Modify a module. Load another module in the "Recent files..." list (under "Configuration" of "File" in the toolbar). When FamiTracker asks you whether to save the current module or not, choose "Cancel". The module you want to load will disappear from the list. It occurs in 0.3.0. as well, so it won't be on the bug list.
2. Play a sample in the DPCM editor and make sure that the sample is long enough plus the pitch is low enough. Click "OK" while the sample is playing and the sample will become strange.
3. Click things too fast in the DPCM editor and FamiTracker will occasionally freeze.

After importing a WAV file for DPCM, I was trying to make my sample more noticeable by adding a 'click'/'pop' to it via the sample editor, checking off the 'Start from 64' box (which gave the effect I wanted).

But doing that doesn't seem to have any effect; it doesn't get saved. :/

Possibly the "start from 64" box only allows you to see how it will affect the sample, in order to do the trick you must put a Z40 for each DPCM note. So, it is most likely an issue more than a bug.

I suppose it is more an issue than a bug, but I'd still expect the sample editor to actually EDIT the sample; 'Insert 0s' doesn't do anything either. ^^'

Now that is really a bug.

It seems like paste + mix isn't working properly? It overwrites the old data. I don't know if that was the intended behavior but it would be useful to be able to paste + mix without overwrite. Like, only paste the data where there are blank cells.

Edit 2 (here it is): When one reloads anything with custom VRC7 instruments and one attempts to edit the instrument, the instrument shuts off. This must have something to do with the instrument options resetting themselves after a load, but I doubt it because the options reset themselves when I made these instruments and they were still editable. This was done in one session of FamiTracker 035 and not edited after saving it. I am now convinced the issue above has more to do with editing the instrument in sessions after saving it.

I think you may have missed my edit, perchance?

Can you give me the post ID? (It should be under the "Status: Offline/Online" thingy)

Sure: #5234. It was only an edit, or course, so it was easy for you to overlook. Normally the eye is drawn to added posts, so I completely understand. Thank you btw. ^____^

The one I am referring to was the second post in this thread. Sorry I wasn't clear.

Anyway, where's #4971 and in which thread is it?
