What does it do?
I tried using it and it sounded just like if I hadn't used any symbol.
Example below, open in 0.3.5 beta

Note Release needs instrumentation configured properly. Try adding this to your instrument's Volume Envelope:
15 / 12 3 3 2 2 2 2 1 1 1 1 1 1 0
the note will sustain on 12, and then continue off 12 when the note release command is issued via pattern.
Of course, if released notes aren't your forte, you can also use an "echo" command ala Mega Man 9 / 10 in the release like so:
15 / 12 4 6 5 5 5 5 1 3 2 2 2 2 0

Wow.
Well now it makes a lot of sense! I used your patterns to try it out, it does sound heavily useful.
Thanks for your help.
