Yeah I was afraid the N163 would be a hassle for you.. I hope you'll manage to add it to the updater though, I'd really really love to have a look at some of those fancy NSFs by Robokabuto, ionustron, and other N163 wizards!
No I don't have the beta. I just access to the bleeding edge source code (possibly newer than the beta).
N163 is working pretty well, so far as I can tell. I don't have anything I'm dying to test with it though. Similar to the SNES, I kinda feel like it's just an inferior sample tracker, not really a device with much character of its own. :P
Anyhow, it's not public. You can ask jsr for it if you want, I suppose, but I don't know if he'd want to give access to a new/anyonymous member. The public source is over at the downloads page as always.
If you have a specific question that can be answered by looking at the source code, I can probably answer it for you.
Are you the one who sent several mails and PMs? Yes I did respond to one of your mails.
Anyhow, I have worked on namco sound today and I think it's complete now, except that it's not working in VirtuaNSF yet. I don't know why but I'm trying to figure it out.
So there might be a beta released soon with (hopefully) working namco audio.
No the N106 expansion is enabled and works in the other players I tested. Nestopia had an extra channel enable switch that wasn't documented anywhere, I found it by studying the source. I have VirtuaNES's source too but haven't found anything so far.
Very good news everyone.
I talked to jsr and he said he found the problem to the VirtuaNSF thing and he said he may release the new Famitracker today or tomorrow.
