What I'm thinking here is a checkbox added to the wave export box that would allow outputting of each channel to an individual .wav, without having to go back and export for each channel, one at a time.

Basically, it would make it so that, if selected, instead of exporting all selected channels as one .wav, it would export all the selected channels as individual .wavs, named appropriately. Something like "songname-2A03-Pulse1.wav" or "songname-VRC6-Pulse2.wav".

I know a fairly decent amount of people out there, myself included, like to export each channel individually, so as to do some mixing/post-processing with them after export, and this would make that process quite a bit easier and faster.

Export to nsf and then use towave is the best workaround atm

Careful if you use towave with other recordings. In my experience, the towave recordings tend to drift away from something else recorded straight in Audacity, even though they're technically the same sample rate. I never dug too far into it though.

I would like this feature exactly as explained by betasword. And it would be much more convenient because when using multichip, I can't export to NSF.

This. This is actually a situation that I didn't think of when making the post, but is probably one of the best examples of why it would be great to have.

Just remember multi-expansion chip isn't "officially" supported, so any requests pertaining to it may be ignored altogether.

Jrl, Actually the multichip comment was just a plus side to the request. Even just a regular Namco 8 channels would benefit of this feature. So there's no reason to ignore the request.
