I do not understand how you cannot have enough time to do something you enjoy. If you like doing something and "real-life" is giving you a tough time, then just take a break and once that roughness has passed away just pick-up what you like doing again or just keep doing what you like in short bursts in-between the stressful irl stuff you are doing.
Since I am still a student and have no experience in the "job industry" I cannot say if a job would make it impossible for me to do my hobby either out of being so exhausted from working or just not having the time. I personally would go for a job which I enjoy (to a certain extent of course) and would also not take up my entire life and basicly make me a zombie when I get home. Maybe my standards are set waaaay too high though.
Ah well. Even though no one is obliged to be here and post wonderful music for free it is still sad to see people have to leave due to "real life" being "real life". Best of luck to ya!
