Incredibly minor report, but it's able to be typed into the Pulse channels even though it's a DPCM-only command.

EDIT: this also happens with Z- and Yxx

What's wrong with that? All other effects work on the DPCM channel too, despite not being compatible with it.

IMHO, if an effect can't be applied to a channel then it should get highlighted red (in the same way as if you specify an invalid instrument ID). Yes it doesn't have any adverse effects (no pun intended), but it will inform you that it will have no desired/positive effects either.
