This isn't based on any RPG specifically, but I am trying to evoke a sort of 1987-Final-Fantasy style. How am I doing?
There are a few parts I'm not happy with -- frame 06's lack of accompaniment and that last chord in frame 0A both bug me, yet my muse has so far failed to come up with the proper inspiration to fix them. But, from an overall perspecctive, I think it's coming along nicely.

Nope, it was actually doing that right from frame 01 (sing along at half the tempo).

My favorite part of the composition, too, because somehow the accompaniment turned out absolutely right on my first attempt. Almost sounds like having an extra Pulse channel.
