Ok here is my addendum.
EDIT: Oh, I have to read the description more precisely. I thought this is a community collab, instead it's just a collaboration of you and somebody else ^^ Anyway, we could make it a community collab now...
The tri snare sounded strange (to me at least) because it wasn't a complete down sweep and it had this weird bounce to it that made it sound less snare-y.
Yeah, the triangle snare was a little wierd, but I personally like the bounce. But I edited in the triangle drums I'm using for the VVVVVV-project instead, witch sounds much better. Then I also edited the noise snare to be a tad louder and fit better with my triangle drums. The noise snare I made isn't that great, but it does the job.
